Auditions for “Disney’s Beauty and the Beast” April 17 and 18, 2009
Fourth Annual FCCJ High School Summer Musical Theatre Experience at Florida Community College South Campus

What:	Auditions for lead character roles in “Disney’s Beauty and the Beast” Fourth Annual FCCJ High School Summer Musical Theatre Experience FCCJ Artist Series and the Nathan H. Wilson Center for the Arts, producing
When:	April 17 at 7 p.m. April 18 at 1 p.m.
Where:	Florida Community College South Campus Nathan H. Wilson Center for the Arts, Main Stage 11901 Beach Boulevard (east of St. Johns Bluff Rd.)

Details: Auditions for public, private and home-schooled students going into grades 10 through 12 for the 2009-2010 school year in Northeast Florida. Roles being cast at this audition are: Belle, Beast, Gaston, LeFou (Gaston’s sidekick), Mrs. Potts (teapot), Lumiere (candlestick) and Belle’s father, Maurice. Supporting roles will be cast at auditions scheduled for May. To audition, students must prepare a song that best represents their vocal range. It does not have to be from the Beauty and the Beast score. Bring sheet music only please, no CDs. Wear loose clothing and be prepared to move and dance.

“Disney’s Beauty and the Beast” is based on the Academy Award nominated Disney movie “Beauty and the Beast,”; with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice and book by Linda Woolverton.
