Women’s Basketball

2008–09 Outlook

The women’s basketball team is youthful but very talented. This year’s team has great depth and versatility. We are very excited about the season and its possibilities. Experience will be a strong factor this year as we showcase three returning sophomores. Positive team attitude and an “all out” work ethic have been great performance indicators as we move closer to the opening of our season. Our players have trained hard and are prepared for the rigors of the season. We will do everything within our power to stay strong and steer clear of injuries. We have several new players this year so we look forward to developing team chemistry and fine tune all aspects of our game. We have “teamed up” with Student Success Advisors from the Student Success Department in order to achieve a 3.0 cumulative Grade Point Average for the team. We plan to win in the classroom and on the court. Bring it on!
