Course Offering

Day Law Enforcement Classes
Day Basic Law Enforcement classes are offered beginning in August and January.
Day Classes meet Monday - Friday, 0800-1700 hours.

Night Law Enforcement Classes
Basic Night Basic Law Enforcement classes are offered beginning in September and March.
Classes meet Monday - Friday, 1800-2200 hours.

Day Corrections Officer Classes
Basic Corrections Officer Classes are currently offered as agency sponsored classes only.
Applicants interested in attending these classes should contact either the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office or your local Sheriff's Office Recruitment Department for employment information.

Day Crossover Course Corrections to Law Enforcement
A night class (6:00pm - 10:00pm) will be offered in February and September.
A day class (8:00am - 2:00pm) will be offered in October and April.
