CampusEdge

Florida Community College students can receive funds electronically through a joint venture between the College and Bank of America. Students can complete the CampusEdge Enrollment Form available online or at a campus business office. All financial aid disbursements and refunds will be deposited into the account.

What is CampusEdge?

What are the benefits of having CampusEdge?

The principal benefits to CampusEdge students are:

  • Saves time - easy access to financial aid by 9 a.m. on the effective date (standard direct deposit availability of funds) and no waiting in lines to cash check
  • Ability for student to have employer directly deposit pay to this CampusEdge account
  • Convenience - comes with a VISA check card so that it can be used for purchases everywhere VISA is accepted
  • Improved security - no longer have to walk around with large amounts of cash
  • Reduced check cashing cost - some pay up to 15 percent of face value to cash check at check cashing stores
  • Improved control over money - take only what you need, when you need it

How do I sign up for a CampusEdge account?

Complete the Electronic Funds Transfer Enrollment Form and return it to your campus business office.

How long will it take to receive my card and temporary checks?

Once you sign up it will take approximately 10 days to receive your card and temporary checks. They will arrive via U.S. postal mail.

How do I make a Visa purchase using my CampusEdge Visa check card?

You can use your CampusEdge Visa check card wherever you see the Visa sign.

Can I get cash at a POS terminal?

Many merchants, like grocery and convenience stores and the U.S. post offices, will offer the ability to take up to a certain amount in cash back with the purchase. The amounts could vary by merchant, but usually are $20, $50 or $100.

When are transaction fees charged?

Bank of America and Florida Community College teamed up to create an account for our students with no monthly service fees for 5 years.

Can I use any local Bank of America banking center for customer service on this account?

Yes. The CampusEdge account is a just like a regular checking account with Bank of America, except with more benefits.

What time of day can I withdraw my financial aid?

Your financial aid will generally be available at the traditional opening of business on the effective date, or approximately 9 am. After this time, you can withdraw your pay virtually 24 hours a day.

What will I receive from the bank once I have signed up?

The following items are in your card package:
  Temporary Checks
  VISA Check card

How do I cancel this service?

Go to your campus business office and fill out a cancellation of EFT form. Once this form is filled out, you will need to fill out a new EFT form with another bank account or you will receive your disbursements by mail.
