Billy Thomas

Thomas has an associate of arts (A.A.) degree from Florida Junior College (Florida Community College), a bachelor of arts (B.A.) degree from Stetson University, and a master of arts in education (M.A.E.) from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, as well as post-graduate hours in education, psychology and counseling from the University of North Florida (UNF). He has more than 17 years’ experience in working as an advisor, counselor and administrator for Florida Community College, the University of North Florida and Jacksonville University. As an adjunct professor, he has enjoyed teaching religion and philosophy, and tutoring reading in the Kent Campus Learning Center. |

Patrick Bertram has an associate of arts (A.A.) degree from the University of the State of New York, a bachelor of science (B.S.) degree in Occupational Education from Southern Illinois University, and a master of science (M.S.) degree in administration from Central Michigan University. He has over 27 year experience in training course development and instruction. As an adjunct professor, has taught classes for Florida Community College at Jacksonville, Troy State and City Colleges, teaching Math, Business, Office Support and Computer classes.

Madeline Gozzi

Gozzi graduated from Douglass College in New Brunswick, New Jersey, with a bachelor of arts (B.A.) in chemistry and is an experienced laboratory chemist. She also studied piano and voice at Mason Gross School of the Arts in New Jersey, and teaches piano and voice. Gozzi enjoys tutoring chemistry as she is especially interested in helping students achieve their science goals.

Bryant has a bachelor of arts (B.A.) in English from Wesleyan College and a M.A.E. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She has taken post-graduate courses at Jacksonville University, taught English at Lee High School, has five years’ experience in tutoring English in the Kent Campus Learning Center and is also working as an adjunct English professor.

Elizabeth Howell

Howell graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science (B.S.) in elementary education, science and creative arts from Western Michigan University. She is an exceptional college prep math tutor with a Level I College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) tutor certification and three years’ experience tutoring adult studies math and English with the Kent Campus Learning Center.

Lee has an associate of arts (A.A.) degree from Florida Community College and is a Brain Bowl participant and winner in upper-level math at both Florida Community College and UNF. Lee has eight years’ experience as a part-time evening and weekend math lab coordinator and is currently enrolled at UNF seeking a degree in mathematics.

Mance earned his bachelor of arts (B.A.) degree in technical and interdisciplinary studies and has an additional 35 credit hours in information systems from Wayne State University. He also holds professional designation in the areas of technology of information processing and management with management training at the Bull Charm School. Mance served as a computer consultant to various state government agencies and small businesses in Michigan and has experience in computer programming and networking. |

Reynolds received her associate of arts (A.A.) degree from Florida Community College, is completing her associate of science (A.S.) degree in business administration from FCCJ and will also pursue a bachelor of applied science in supervision and management from FCCJ. She has completed training in CRLA levels I and II and has managed the Kent Campus Foreign Language Lab since 2004. |

Henry L. Moore

Moore earned his associate of arts (A.A.) Degree from Florida Community College and his bachelor of arts (B.A.) in business administration (with a major in accounting and a minor in management) from UNF. He also has a master of business administration with a concentration in accounting from UNF and is a certified public accountant in the State of Florida. Moore has nine years’ experience in tutoring math and accounting at the Kent Campus Learning Center and also, as an adjunct professor, in teaching accounting classes at Florida Community College.

Leo Pacatan

Pacatan earned his associate of arts (A.A.) degree with high honors from Florida Community College. While working in the math lab as a student tutor, he qualified for a Regular Level I, Advanced Level II and Master Level III CRLA certifications in tutoring. He is now studying for a B.S. degree in statistics at UNF. Pacatan enjoys tutoring mathematics and is always open to new ideas for helping students.
