* Transfer Problems? If you’ve recently graduated from FCCJ and are experiencing problems trying to transfer to a university, FCCJ’s Student Transfer Advocacy Team (STAT) may be able to help. You’ll be able to access the STAT system by logging into your Artemis account and selecting the STAT link. This service will be online no later than May 19. Until May 19, call 904.632.5048 for service.
* Excellence in Patient Safety Conference: All health care professionals, faculty and students are encouraged to attend this conference on June 5–6. Registration is going on now — learn more.
* Air Traffic Controller: We’ll be offering a new air traffic controller training program at the Cecil Center South — Aviation Center of Excellence (ACE) in Fall 2008. Contact David Dagenais at 904.317.3829.
* Classes for Business or Pleasure: Are you looking for training that can boost your performance on the job? Do you want to make the most of your leisure time? Our continuing education classes have something for everyone!
* New Scholarship Web Site: Now you can complete the online scholarship application and be matched to all available scholarships and easily search for scholarships. Reminder — it’s not too late to apply for financial aid for 2008-09.
* FCCJ to Offer Three New Bachelor Degrees:
We’ll be offering bachelor degrees in Business, Computer Networking and Nursing — program-related courses are expected to start Fall 2008.
